I knew when these three walked into my class that they were not sisters who had been pushed to live together by their parents, no, this giggling trio in the second row clearly chose to live together. When I told Corey that we had three sisters taking our classes together he replied "That's adorable! You should interview them." After spending an evening with these three they make me believe in happily ever after sibling love. Cohabitation is no easy feat, especially with relatives, but the Blaire sisters are truly in their element together.
A little bit about Rachael, Jessica and Lindsay: They were born and raised in Arizona by what I imagine are very passionate parents. I say this because each of the sisters has a clear love and drive for what she does. Rachael is the eldest and a Physician Assistant in Neurology. Jessica is the second eldest and works in education at the Prospect Park Zoo. Lindsay just started her first year at NYU for Speech Pathology.
The Blaire sisters will go above and beyond to see each other. Throughout the years when they were spread around the world they always visited each other. No matter where Jessica went on her internships they followed her to Vancouver, Africa and Hawaii (bummer, I know). And when Lindsay was teaching 5th graders English in South America she coordinated with Jessica's 4th grade class to Skype and become pen pals with her class.

Rachael was the first to move to NYC when she started school at St. John’s in Queens 5 years ago and lived with her best friend in med school. When her lease was coming to an end Jessica got her job and Lindsay got into NYU. They were clearly destined to live together -- Rachael wasn't going to pass up this opportunity!

They ended up at The Olivia because their parents always stayed at the hotel next door. While the girls were struggling to find an apartment in different areas throughout the city, wrestling with brokers fees and shying away from small spaces inconveniently located they saw the sign outside The Olivia and decided to take a look.

One thing lead to another and they've quickly adapted to life in the big city together and have the sweetest routine. Since they all keep non-traditional hours with their respective careers, they plan their time off together coming to hOM classes in their building, exploring the city and cooking dinner for each other. In the mornings, whoever is the last to leave the apartment makes a big breakfast for the other two.
It's important to note that the Blaire sisters are actually only 3 of 4 sisters--the littlest, Shannon, is at home in Arizona. She just got her license and is looking forward to coming to visit NYC soon.

I was blown away by how close these women seemed in class, but to get to know them outside of the studio shed light on just how remarkable they really are. These women do not mess around, they are incredibly brilliant, beautiful and driven by their unique passions. Together they've created a very supportive and loving home taking full advantage of all that their new home has to offer, we are lucky to have them as part of the community through hOM classes.
